that's breast shield. i bought Avent Band. I bought it becoz my nipple was hurt during the first 3 weeks by my baby. the shield will separate the hurt nipple with bra to reduce the pain and let the nipple recover soon. now i use it for collect the milk leakage come from one breast when i am direct feeding my baby on the other side.
