What would you like to get but couldn't / too expensive in Canada?

Hi everybody,
Hong Kong is considering sales tax which I think is a bad idea. Still remember back in Canada, people used to going to the States buying cheaper goods just because of avoiding heavy sales tax! What are the goods you want to get but couldn't or just being too expensive in Canada?
My list includes chinese magazines, newspaper and CD. You might want to add yours to share?

snacks for sure, especially those Japanese ones

they're so cheap in HK but so expensive in Canada

also some fancy stuffs like car decorations / hello kitty stuff etc

Dear all,

Just want to ask about the car seat in Canada?
Any suggestion for the brand name because HK do not have much model to choose. Want to ask any reasonable price and good for the infant to 4 years old car seat. Therefore, I can buy it in Walmart, Sears or Toysrus baby.

Don't buy it in HK, as it may not fit the requirement of the rule in Canada. I will sugguest u buy it in Sears or the Bay.
Most of the baby products I bought were the brand name "evenflo", as the after sales is very good. (1st time My baby car seat's pad broken, then I call the evenflo service hotline, and they mailed a new pad to me in few days. 2nd times My baby scrollar's wheel not very smooth after few months use, and then they mailed a pairs of new wheels to me.

If you want to get more info about the baby products, u can search on the department store website. or Evenflo's web (by memory the address is www.evenflo.com )
