would like to share with you my experience. like you, my son had been living with my mom since he's 2.5 months old and until 1 year old. I only brought him back home on Friday night and sent him back to my mom's on sun night. but I usually stayed overnight at my mom's home for one-two weekdays every week, so as to deliver frozen milk and breastfeed my son.
since my boss allowed me to pump milk during office hours and I insisted on exclusive breastmilk, I pumped as many as 6-7 times a day when he's 2-3 months old. I even got up during midnight to pump milk. but when he turned 4 months, I could only pump 4-5 times a day. I would recommend you pump one more time during lunch hours. even though you can't store it in the fridge, (if I remember right) I learnt from some bk mom that you can store milk in fridge-to-go. fridge-to-go claims that contents can be cooled for up to 8 hours. you may wish to check with other bk moms/fridge-to-go. www.fridge-to-go.com.hk
most importantly, whenever I was with my son, I breastfed him myself, and never allowed any one to bottle feed him. the frozen milk was only for use when I was away. by doing so, my son needed not take any formula. in fact, these difficult days didn't last long, as my son took solid food since 6 months.
however, may I ask why you can't store milk in your mom's fridge. why is it不方便? can you put the milk in some plastic/paper bags? suggest you try not to supplement with formula before it's absolutely necessary. and you never need to feed frozen milk to your baby during weekends. weekends are used to stimulate your milk supply. my experience is: it's always easier than you think.
