hi 各位女士要小心,我有朋友去觀塘康寧道,康?化驗所做婦科驗查,它們推出套餐好便宜,所以我朋友去咗幫襯!驗血話佢胆固醇過高.再入去驗子宮,訓在x光床上,有位大陸女醫生驗查,它們的工具唔知道有無消毒,我朋友中蕉,中咗女性常會有的"唸珠菌",最可笑是驗血話我朋友有胆固醇過高,因為她飲食好小心,有関肉臟/海產/都無食.她不明白出現什麼問題?她水再去政府醫院驗血,結果係無胆固醇過高,但布有"唸珠菌"係真,我朋友要再睇醫生,睇咗$1000仟蚊.各位要小心呀!千萬不要呯呯呯呀!!!! :-( :-(

I think 6-7 year b4, a man from 康?化驗所 phoned me a few times for help.. they bought a 2nd hand chemistry machine (and didnt want to buy the maintainance plan from the supplier).. they had quite a lot of problem, but since they were not the "customer" of the supplier.. no help obtained. Where I worked had the 1st machine of that particular model in HK.. and I was the main user.. anyway.. I tried my best to asnwer the questions.
What I wanna say is, their resource is limited.. they not really wanna invest. The in-charge is a old-fashioned man. Technicians come and go very frequent.
In your case, there r 2 problems, 1st mix up of samples?? nobody can say not possible! did you see any bar-code on the sample tubes? I really dont know.. but dont think they are using the bar-code system.
2nd, I'm not sure also, the calibration of the machine. If you treat a machine well, there is no problem for using it for 10 years.. but 10 years are time to replace it anyway =P cholesterol is a very common test, the QC and calibration should be good.
my advise is, dont use some "local-feel" lab. the bigger one wont cost you a lot.
