If I were you, I would prefer to see the Doctor and the money you paid will be as an comment consultancy to your worry. Don't imagine it would disappear and if there were really something need to do, then we can arrange earlier.
I have the same experience and after see the doctor, I would think it was really worth because you don't have to carry the uncertainty for a long time.
