Self confidence lesser and lesser due to boss' scolding - will you resign?

If your boss always scold you (even if it's not your fault), and you are getting lesser and lesser confidence, always worrying that you are wrong at all things, will you choose to resign?

Money doesn't mean everything.

Better to find another job if you feel very very unhappy.

I think I should quit too becos I think it's just working to earn $$, why need to affect the self confidence as well??

if you were me, will you choose to quit first or quit until you find a new one? Because it's almost end of year, so may be a bit difficult to find one until early next year?

It depends on what kind of job you are doing now?
I will advise you to find the other job first and then quit much more safe if your $$ is required for living...

Or you can through the agency to find the new job for you.

Well, if you are planning to leave why don't you discuss with your boss what's going wrong between you two. Or your boss want you go so use this type of method to let you quit.. My old boss used to use this method to make me quit. And be happy, Life = Happy!

Hello, 我有你相同的經歷, 舊Boss成日話我做嘢唔得! 又成日黑面, 都覺得自己好似無晒自信,...我都要考慮好多問題 money, year end, 怕找唔到工......其实出面嘅世界仍然美好, 唔洗等好耐就有新工, 建議你找Agency幫手,唔怕找多幾間,問吓而家咩行情。Cheers Up

支持你! 其実可能係你boss對自己的自信心下降,故唔到自己,仲會故你感受咩? 你有經驗,心地善良,希望你好快揾到新工及同事好到不得了!

If possible, I'd suggest you to work until this year end, then you can earn the 13th salary ma. i'm also thinking to hunt for another job as I'm unhappy with my job. but as I can get the 13th salary only if I work until dec 31, I have to stay here. We ++++ oil la. You are not alone

My situation is also similar to yours. I have confidence of my job performance before I join this company. This is a part-time job (from 9am to 2pm every day) as a Personal Assistant from June. My boss is an old woman. She always calls me after my office hour. Her purpose is not to solve any problem. she only aims to 找人鬧,鬧完就收線. 一星期总有一兩日。今日比較黑仔連打兩个电話嚟鬧我，覺得自己好似妹仔(maid)。好想唔做,但人工及時間也不錯。唯有安慰自已,我的job duty 就是被佢鬧(重要係無理嗰種)。

thanks all of you.

My boss is a woman too, but not the family oriented type though she got a high school daughter...she just works and works.... and get more and more demanding and most of the time, I think she just takes it for granted, think that she gives you $$, so you need to work..... Today my hands just keep on shaking....(i believe i am so nervous).

I hope I can find another job soon!! Hope that my new job dont have pay -cut!!

If you don't want to be crazy, I think you'd better to look for another job right now. I had experienced similar case before and I couldn't sleep well, everythime when I fall asleep I would dream somthing bad was happening in the company, as a result I didn't go back to sleep cos didn't want to dream the bad things happened again.
