Two yrs ago, when I was in Paris , Hermes still accept Podium order placed on Lindy, but not birkin. I told the SA which kind of color and leather for the Lindy i wanted and then waited for around 6 months for their email reply to me that the bag has been ready. Then I remit the proceeds to Hermes France and got the bag by courier services. How happy I feel at that time as I think the SA has thrown away my order and ignored it.
Have anyone order bag directly from Hermes Paris or the waiting list has been closed?
Walk in Paris Hermes and ask for Birkin. Again, no birkin . Then I asked whether there is lindy in pink color ( the one on shelf is white one and my favorite) The SA then ask me what color and leather I like and help me to write down on a sheet. Six month later, I finally got my lovely Lindy from France.
Remember as well, I also saw a diamond crocodile birkin cost EUR150000 on the shelf , that is open for sale.
