I would like to start a new topic again instead of joining the existing one - 子宮內膜異位 because those in the discussion in the past few months focused mainly on using surgery to remove the cysts and to me, surgery or other advices from western doctors are "passive" ways of handling the problem.
About 5 years ago, every month, after the period, I felt painful in my abdomen for at least 7 days and the pain then disappeared even though I did nothing. One specialist then asked me to go to take ultrasound and found out I had chocolate cysts near ovaries; one on the left and the other on the right. The one on the right was as large as 4.9 cm. Another doctor told me that it's called Endometriosis. She said that there were three ways of handling: (1) take pills to stop menustration in order to let the normal uterus tissue grow again; (2) remove the chcolate cysts by surgery; (3) remove the uterus. She then told me that for (1) & (2), there is no guarantee that chcolate cysts won't come out again.
After her advice, I then drew the conclusion that western ways of handling endometriosis was too passive and they do not cure the root causes which have led to chcolate cysts. So I made up my mind to find other ways. Acupunture and chinese medicines are what I used to cure this. Why is there endometriosis ? The major reason is the disorder & disbalance of our hormone secretion. What has caused this disbalance is still unknown. The theory of chinese curing method is to handle the root cause and make it balance again.
I also have the problem of Endometriosis and has a 1-3/4cm chocolate cyst on the right ovary. Would you mind to tell us more about your chinese medical treatment? Is it work finally?
