Haze in S'pore inches towards "very unhealthy" level
SINGAPORE: The three-hour Pollutant Standards Index (PSI) reading hit 190 at 8pm on Wednesday, inching towards the 201 "very unhealthy" benchmark and making yet another new high in the current haze season.
The PSI reading initially registered a seasonal high of 172 on Wednesday at 3pm after climbing steadily since the morning.
The 190 reading is the highest recorded in Singapore since September 1997.
