I don't trust 百x as well. Once they argued that the promotion ended but forgot to remove the yellow promotion tag, once they said the promotion tag was wrongly posted. Sometimes, the computer system didn't get updated with proper discount, say 5% or 10% off. I definitely will check the bill tag everytime to make sure I am correctly billed.:;pppp:
Last Sun, I saw several big yellow promotion tags saying 5% off offered for every purchase of 2 pack six-250 or 275 ml boxes or two 1 litres 常溫牛奶 in front of different brands of milk.
To avoid arguring, I picked 2 packs 牛奶 but not 豬古力奶 & happy that I would get a 5% discount. Disappointedly, when I checked the bill, no discount noted.
I double-checked with the cashier & even the supervisor/manager. The latter told me the discount only applied to ONE BRAND only. I challenged her why so many tags sticked in front of other brands & the promotion wording not specifying the brand name. She checked again & again & finally refunded me the discount without explanation & apology. Too bad!!!!
Although I spent > 10 min to ask for my $2.6 back, it is worth to let them know not to fool their customers.
All jm, do check the bill before you leave this shop. It is not the first time that I found they got it wrong.
