How long we have to wait for the VCA no after submitting the document to Immigra
As I am urgently need a maid. My agent told me that they already submitted the document to Immigration Dept on 10/10 but up to todate, they haven't received the VCA No yet (I asked them for the VCA No. so that I can write to Immigration to expedite the process).
Can any experienced mom share
1. How long we have to wait for the VCA No. after submitting the document to Immigration.
2. How long we will get the visa after receiving the VCA No.

1. 2 weeks.
2. It depends whether there are many applications or not. Nevertheless, you can e-mail to the Imm Dept to urge them to expedite the process. The response of Imm Dept is quick and they will issue the visa shortly, about 1 week after receiving the VCA no. for my case. They will call you informing you the date of issue of visa and will ask you to call your agent to get the visa and pay the levy. So, do remember to leave your contact phone no. in your email.
