I have a maid which has no exp b4, and I have to teach her lot of things. But I think it is better bcoz she is more obedient and will just follow the way you teach her and not the way she learnt b4.
In respect of your last point, I agree with you too, so it is better to find an agent that is reliable....
1). I prefer someone who has previously worked as a domestic helper so that she'll not get homesick. A lot of new domestic helpers they don't get used to be away from home and after a while they want to go back home.
I'll prefer someone who has never been to HK then I assume she doesn't have that many friends here.
I prefer (1); however, I'm thinking of employing a bun with HK experience. First, I can do a face to face interview. Second, I can ask her previous employer about the performance. Third, I may ask her to work for me for 1-2 days. My logic is that if the maid is a bad girl with terrible character, she will become bad anyway.....It's a matter of time
