A09 vs. 18-70

A09 比較清晰(但不是十分明顯), 但色調偏黃. 18-70 色調偏藍, 容易給人感覺灰灰暗暗.

兩鏡都設定在50mm, f4.5.

I think it's sharper, but with Yellowish color, some ppl might not like it. It will make the color temperature too warm.

I just asked one of my friend who also own a A09, he said Yellowish is a common complaint from A09 users. But this lens is famous for sharpness, and it make Tamron a rich company.

I am sure it's not as good as your 28-70, PQwise, but mobility is higher.

So, you are having two lenses but range are overlapping, do you want to give up one?

BTW, which body do you have?

I am using D200..actually I have 2 more lens both are Tamon 70-300 and 28-200. My hubby always asked to sell some as I have no more space in my 防潮箱. these two may not have resales values

I've bought this A09 two months before as my 28-70 can only have up to f3.5 but I have to buy f2.8 or lower......

You are so pro...I can learn a lot when going through this topic

using D200, I will suggest u using better lenses, for tight budget, go for Tamron's A16 (17-50 f2.8) which is a great lens at that price.
For more $$, get the Nikon 17-50 f2.8

You can be professional too if you take more pictures by using DSLR.

The Tamron 70-300 and 28-200 are good for their convenience and you have to give out the quality in return.

同意!TAMRON只有支A09的成像較佳,如果用得D200,最好用翻NIKON的鏡頭,因成像差好遠!

頭先出去又用支18-70影左好多, 硬係爭d, 好似唔夠實咁. 可能近排睇慣左定焦影的相, 唔慣用kit lens了.

明天摞返公司同個friend支17-55比較下, 就會擺返落防潮櫃.

dchome 應該好快多支18-70 賣了.

水貨無五年保, 咪搞, 聽講騰龍鏡的sharpness tune 同唔 tune 是兩回事. 行貨可免費tune. 如果Nikon支17-55 的貨源唔係咁緊張, 我會買返支. 依家炒高左而且無得揀, 有塵都要局要, 我又突然覺得A09幾好囉.

Actually, I want to buy nikon lens but the one I like is around ~1xxxx...I 've struggled for a while and then finally bought A09... However, it seems not good enough for bb...so now. want to buy another one....I'm thinking 50mm f1.4 or 50mm f1.8 or 85mm f1.8. Do you think which one should I choose?

A16 cannot be used in my film camera..so I gave up this and then bought A09.

How much for nikon 17-50? but it seems duplicate for my 28-70 wor....

Do you think I need to give up my two tamon?

even if you buy the Nikon 17-50 f2.8, it's a DX format and cannot be used on film camera too!!
Nikon 17-55 f2.8 $9,680

For taking portrait with both Digital and Film camera, I will choose the 85mm one.
(But which camera you use most often?? bear in mind that the trend is going to Digital, maybe few months later, you will use Digital SLR only.)
