My son is really really underweight. I try polyvoso before but it doesn't help him to eat more and gain weight.
So doctor prescribes another one called Lybovit Syrup. My bb is trying it but I don't know whether it works. I can buy it in pharmacy just HK$45. the salesperson says it can help BB eating more.
sorry for my late reply. its chinese name is 露寶營養 syrup, somthing like that. My bb is 21 months lar but he only gets 21 lbs. (he is very thin since from his birth, he only got 4.5lbs at birth)
So the doctor prescribes Polyvisol first, but when he is 6 months old, the doctor said the dosage of polyvisol doesn't fullfill the need of my bb, so he suggests us to drink Lyborivt Syrup. I think it doesn't has any side effect, its vitamin supplement.
BTW, my bb doesn't gain much weight woh...He is still in 3% development curve. So my doctor suggests another one called "olycal", it is only carbohydrates. it might let my bb gain weight. My bb is trying it too.
