I'm going to Bintan & Singapore from 21st Nov till 28 Nov also. I've booked a villa at the Bintan Lagoon thru HKG agent. The ferries between Tanah Merah & Bintan during that period is still open. Don't worry! You will difinitely get onto the ferry. You can even book the seat in advance thru online . If you would like to know further details regarding the schedule, pls let me know, I can refer the details to you. And in Singapore, I'll be staying in the service apartment too!!!! Singapore is a very small city, its very convinient to round the island even you are first timer.
I've compared a few websites & found out that this web site is the cheapest among all.
For my case, I'd booked 2 service apartment with 2-bedroom for 5 nights is around SGD 2100. We have 8 adults & 1 child. And the location is near Newton Circus station.
One 2-bedroom service apartment is SGD 180/per nite plus SGD 30 utility charges which is a total of SGD 210 per day.
