For me I join package too. Package incl everything, pls see my detail sharing link below.
Unless u think u can/need to come out from hospital very soon after operation, so u will save some $ because some room checking fee for BB and mother are daily basis. Otherwise better join package so mother will hv good rest with 6 days in hospital, and everything hv incl.
The meal package is seperated, it is optional, I hv joined, but if u hv someone who will bring u food to eat every day, u may not need to join. U can order from their menu time from time if u like.

護理治療,醫療儀器,藥$850 is for what? Is everyone need this item?
Why bb巡房費 has discount but Dr. Yuen's 巡房費 does not have discount?
bb聽力test is it a must?
I am so sorry to have some many questions to ask you. I saw some other BK mothers in other hospitals are prefer not join their package. I just wonder why almost all mothers in 仁安生bb are join package. Is it really better?
Your information is very detail. I have visited your web. I have almost the same situation with you. Do you think it is necessary to stay six days in hospital? Why you choose package (if not, you can leave hospital earlier with you baby)? I saw some BK mama said they just stay in hospital for four to five days. So, I just fell confuse.
bb聽力test is it a must, but can be done freely in 健康院 later. that's my case because I saw almost every baby in my room required by another BB doctor to do this test, but my doctor didn't arrange so, and I forgot to asked before I left hostipal, then when I went to 健康院 several days later checking "yellow", found they hv free service..
For package stay, I had my C-section on Monday morning, and left hospital by Sat noon time, 6 days I think is a good arrangement for someone like me who don't know how to feed the Baby !
Because normally one need to stay on bed by 24 hr before doctor allow u to step down the bed, so u hv about 4 day to learn how to feed (incl BF, very difficult for new mom like me, and Union do very support this! ) how to change diaper for BB, and used to such time schedule. For me that is quite necessary because after I back to home, I hv to take care BB in night time by myself (my husband don't know anything too, I don't hv DA, I only hire a 陪月 who work in morning time). And in hospital like Union, I did hv a quite a good sleep there over these nights, which become very difficult till now because BB always hv diff demand at night time..
If u don't join package, it is likely hostipal to charge everything like a cotton seperatly for u (no one know the exact amt), and outcome like my C-section package is not so expensive relatively, so I think most mom like to join :mrgreen:
