I am applying a maid from Phil and my agent just informed me that the newly policy from Phil that all oversea new helpers must attend an extra training for month before come to HK.
Do you know whether this is really a new policy? Now I have to wait for one more month. I need the helper very urgent. What should I do. The HK visa is grant already.
I double check with the agency today, this new policy has two main issues:
1) maid age under 25, cannot apply to be a domestic helper overseas
2) for maid who is the first time work overseas need to attend training (around 1 month time) by the government before departure.
