Christmas Holiday

Just want to ask if bun/yan all entitled to Christmas Holiday on 25 & 26 Dec ?? or just on 25/12 only?

Wa!! they have so many holiday this month and also the coming 1/1/2007....

22 winter solistice or 25 christmas, either one, others are not labour holiday n they are not entitled!

thanks!! my bun told me she has holiday on 25th and 26th...and i really believe her!! Lucky that I come here and ask.....my bun bun so cunning!!!

what about 1/1/2007?

1/1 is the offical labour holiday for them, they're entitled to have day-off on 1/1

My bun have just worked for us since 5/Nov, is she entitled to have holiday on 25/Dec & 1/Jan ??

agreed! she has the right to go for no pay labour holiday during the first 3 mths!

Put it this way...

22/12 or 25/12 statutory holiday, you must approve and tell her "no pay" accordingly, i.e. minus around $110.

rest day in the week, say 24/12, you may discuss with her to pay $110 in lieu of rest day.

these can be recorded properly and legally, while no hard feeling to the maid due to remained salary.

is this ok?
