Did your Filipino maids tell you anything about seeing ghosts in the flat? My maid (after she came for one week) told me that she saw a ghost outside the window in the middle of the night and after a few weeks, she said she saw one walking inside the flat. Well, I did feel afraid when she told me, but touchwood, we have been living in the same flat for more than one year and we saw nothing.
Tell the maid you're (your family and "ghost") good friend and it protests your family from long time ago. And tell the maid to feel free to chat with it as it won't hurt good people.
