Yes. Last time my maid had to pay $160 to extend the visa after renewing the passport. When she returned home and showed me the receipt, I paid her $160.
it is not extend the visa date and is renew her expiry date to the contract end date (after she go back within 1 year) woh! ?-( I don't think I need to pay for the visa fee again because her passport expiry date is less than 2 years (within my contract period).It need $160 to pay for visa fee which I already paid at her contract start, her visa expiry date is 2 years, however her passport is expiry before that date, so just change the expiry date of visa.
I also think that I do not need to pay. This extra charge only due to the expiry of her passport. She also need to responble for that. I just afraid any law/regulation on that...............
