問:想到加拿大生bb

我想問問如果我同我先生都是香港人，若到加拿大生bb，咁bb是否可成為加拿大人。
生bb的收費及住院費又幾多?
移民局是否會給大肚婆入境呢?

生bb的收費及住院費又幾多 - - - not sure for non PR or citizen, as i am free of charge. but i have heard that over cad10000, please correct me if other knew about this. the other thing is you may not be able to find doctor who will accept you as patient. without referral from dr, hospital may not let you register with them to reserve a room for you (no private hospital in canada). midwife services is not available for you either
移民局是否會給大肚婆入境呢 - - - no, if they can see your 肚, unless you are PR or citizen. on the other hand, when you depart hk, the airline staff will ask for doctor's letter and check for your status in canada. they can refuse to let you on flight if you are not PR or citizen of canada, as the 移民局 here may refuse to let you in, so you may be same plane back to hk. CX will not take this risk. i came back when 8 mths pregency to canada to give birth to my daughter. i needed to provide dr's letter and proof of my status in canada when checking in in hk.

I dont want to be mean, but this is the same thing that happen to HK when the mainland Chinese want to give birth in HK!

There is plenty of agency who offer package, why not go and look from that.

yeah... I don't wanna to be mean too.

I see many ppl in the forum asking about going to Canada to give birth or some ppl who go back to HK after they got the Canadian passport who come back to Canada for child birth or child's education.

For the former, it is just like the mainland ppl who go to HK to give birth, if they think it that way, how would they feel???

For those former resident, I really wonder, if they choose to go back to HK, would it mean they do not like it here?? Or they think HK is better???
Why when it come to the matter of child birth or education, the first thing they consider is to come back to Canada to do it, isn't it weired???????????

Ha, ha.... China is doing it to control there rapid uncontrol increae in population. However, their ppl don't listen and even trying to sneak thro' the law of the own country by "make use" of HK/Canada or other country..... I think China need to amend the rules to avoid this......

Poor HK has no control on it, just sitting there looking at it, posing serious stress on the medical service of HK. Poor HK!!!!

I hope Canada should do something about it before the situation became as serious as HK.n fact, some country already change the rule that baby born by non-resident will not get citizenship even they born here, I wish Canada will follow ....

If you are going to Vancouver, there's a lot of 月子服務中心, the fee for accommodation/meals is C$2500 not including medical fee. You need to pay about C$5000-10000 as deposit when seeing the doctor.
