Hygiene is the first qualification needed when looking for a maid to taking care of a new born. Second is experience, third is age. My yan yan is 27, she is my second hired maid, if I'm not around, she doesn't wash her hand everytime she got home from outside. I caugh her most of the time, because I pretend to be sleep in my room and walk quietly to the kitchen to see what she's up to. I'm a staying home mom, so I can check on her. If you're a working mom, God knows what she does at home.
If you ask my pick, it'll be the one from Singapore age 30.
twin214wy,
Can you also PM me? I want to fire my Yan Yan shortly as she cannot do the cleaning properly (after many teaching and counselling) and not take care my second baby (3m) well. I hire her because she'd experience of caring a NB to 2 yr in Singapore and she had a child of her own that cared by herself till 2 yr, but still her standard of cleaning is terrible, even worse, she didn't change baby's diaper even it got so smelly and dried up.
Patrick,
With my experience, CV is important but more important is your own luck.
Goodluck guy.
