Technically, EDC is calculated based on the first day of your last period, not the date of conception, by doing so the no. of weeks of pregnancy is more than the no. of weeks the fetus is actually conceived. However, since you said you have period in early Jan, then it may be a sign of other possible problems. Do check with another doctor asap.
