My husband want the baby give birth at New York, USA. We have some friends live here. And he said when the child need study at USA can free or lower cost, because he is citizen.
en3021, so neither of you or your husband is US citizen? well, to answer your question, I am not sure if you mean "free"education as in going to public schools here, which is the same in HK.
and for colleges/university, tution for residents and non-residents do have a difference depending on where and what school your child will be applying to. but bear in mind, you still have lots of expenses that you need to be aware of.
and most airline will still be ok for you to board the plane until you are 8mos, with the letter of your ob doctor attached. check with your airline first.
but since you are not US citizen, I am not sure if US custom will say anything, they have the right to refuse you to come. good luck!
