有沒有Home School 家庭學校之家長?

知不知在美國的家長有home school your children 的選擇呢？
可否交流一下心得與經驗？
我老公剛開始home school 我們5歲的女兒。又要照顧有特別需要的女兒平安。
家裡又加添了一位baby。

if so, i can pm u some info.

some people told me i should home-school my kid, but i didn't pick this option becoz he never listens to me and he likes to social with other kids.

i agree that homeschooling could save the kid a lot of times in academics (i.e. learning a few grade levels' materials in a year, etc.). but you'll need to have connections with other home-schooled kids to have play-groups, etc. in order to keep the kid to be socialized. also, u might want to exchange resources with other home-schooled parents. e.g. if you both are good at science but not good at arts, then u might want to have connection with other parents who're good at arts.

你們是不是住在泰國的外國人呢？我知道可以 home shool 的國家並不多。就是說可以有 home shool 選擇的機會並不多。

I am good at science and Chinese. my husband is good at art, English, social science and Bible knowledge.

你們懂泰語，懂中文，懂英文，就可以教一對子女起碼三種地方語言。以後做傳道人好方便，傳耶穌基督的道。

我們呢，老公教英文，我同小朋友講普通話。我爸爸媽媽同小朋友講廣東話。我媽媽用教普通話教中文。
我的小朋友用中文都是用得不夠。我要上班（返工），我們沒有與父母同住，每周送大妹去我媽家一、兩個半日學中文。媽媽用普通話教學，數學也一起教。
媽媽以前當了二十多年的教師，教慣了四十人一個班。現在對一個反而覺得難。挑戰的地方完全不同。剛開始時，我女又不坐定定。現在好好多了。我都見她有點成績。

我們家全都是女，分別 6，4，2 歲。

你們呢？教材怎樣找呢？自制嗎？

Home school here is very flexible. You can pull your children out from public, private school any time you want.

To start a home school is very easy. Better not let school district know becasue they do not know how easy it is to start a home school, they might try to complicate the steps and procedures. If you want to link on how to start a home school in CA, I may post it here.

thx for your tips.
however, i'd already given up the idea of homeschooling my kid. as he's our only child, he always said nobody plays with him and talks to him at home. he's a social butterfly, so i think home-school doesn't work for him. plus, he never listens to me at home so homeschooling will definitely killing me.
