I am working in a creche (part time), I bring Francesca in as well...so I would say I am a full time mum as I look after her 24/7.
Francesca always asks for cuddle but I always leave her crying...I am a bit mean but I think that's the best for both of us. If she keeps crying then I will put telly on or give her colour pencils to draw or that her to the park. Just do something to draw her attention away.
We've got a cat at home. When Francesca cries, I always ask her "Where's eppy?" then she will stop instantly and look for the cat. That always work!
As I am working in the creche, I always need to lift the toddlers...they are sooooooo heavy which makes my back ache a lot>.<
How about you? Does your back hurt?

The creche that I am working at, they are really busy and they need manpower! 4 hours work, with Francesca in the creche...I only need to pay 2 hours for her to go in.
My sister in law works in a playgroup, she brings her son in without paying anything! (so...my boss is a bit mean>.<)
