Hi, I have just been back from the clinic. From the ultrasound scan, the doctor found a “snow storm effect" besides the normal york sac on the screen. She said it's quite unlikely and tried to comfort me. I have to wait for 2 weeks.
molor pregnancy葡萄胎 is a rare condition. you are advised to remove the "fetus" as soon as possible. otherwise there is a risk to develop cancer if the fetus stays in your uterus. normally, doctor will refer you back to public hospital coz you may need to follow up regularly to check the blood level of hcg.. in addition, you should not get pregnant for 1 year. some doctors even advise not to get preggo for 2 years...once your level of hcg has gone down to normal level, i.e. less than 10. you dont need to worry any more. just take care. advise to find one more doctor to confirm the condition.
