但今年HK無論私家同public都好~~~~full。我個friend9月預產期﹐但個醫生仲未confirm到邊間hospital!!(she gave birth at Matilda last time).

don't worry too much ... if it's hurting too much, take the pain-killer.
i also had c-section for my boy. after given birth, my ob doctor prescribed the ibupofen (spelling right? i.e. pain-killer) for me and told me to take it several times a day for abt one to two weeks. i also had antibiotics since my incision started to get a bit oozy. she said it's ok although i was breastfeeding.

Yes ah, also C-section ah. I think in Macau they will only prescribe panadol... not sure if the same as Ibuprofen... but paracetamol should also be OK for breastfeeding right?
Oozy... oh no... I didn't see that but it certainly feel like that.. Really, like fire burning the cut (but thank god I didn't feel it whenever I was with the baby.)
But as soon as they took him away .... WAWAWAWAWAWA....
Panadol is the same as the Tylenol (acetaminophen) here.
just found out paracetamol is same as acetaminophen, so it absolutely ok for breastfeeding, pregnancy and newborn.
Tylenol is milder than Ibuprofen, so i guess it might not work well for bigger wounds such as those for c-sections. so my ob doctor had prescribed Ibuprofen for me at the very beginning, and she said it's ok for breastfeeding.
according to the internet, it said Iburpofen does not harm the baby when breastfeeding although it might pass a very small amount into the breastmilk. actually the same category for pregnancy and breastfeeding as
Acetaminophen in terms of safety.
even she said the antibiotic was ok during breastfeeding. she's afraid that my incision would get infection when she saw it's a bit oozy.
now my scar is almost disappeared. i suspect if the antibiotic helped.
My scar is still very visible ah! A bit dark red...
But it's Ok cuz it's in a place no pants are low enough to show. If someone can see it then my hair is also showing...
Let me go home and try to dig out some Ibuprofen sin... we always stock up on drugs when we go back to NJ for a visit... we always have to make sure there's Nyquil at home (somehow you cannot buy them in Macau or HK!!!)
for the over-the-counter Ibuprofen such as Advil or Motrin, i think it contains Ibuprofen abt 200mg only. the doctor prescribed 600mg for me; if taking Advil, i would need to take 3 pills at a time.
so u lived or studied in NJ before? before i gave birth, i worked in NJ for abt 1/2 year (during weekdays) for a project.

I went to HS and college there, then also worked in the city for a few years. I just luuuuuuuv the city so much, still dreaming about the day I could go back with my kids.... but that's probably not going to happen for another 10 years...

Yes, for us with C-sections we should wait at least another 2 years. Actually there's already some pressure on my old incision and I feel some pain from time to time....
By the time Mui Mui's born, Ryan will be 2.5. But I am just starting to fall in love with him(because he can talk now and we have little conversations), so I really treasure the time I spend with him now. When the baby's born I doubt we'll have a lot of alone time to chat anymore!!

when i went to see my ob doctor for follow up after i gave birth to my boy by c-section, i was warned to wait at least 6 to 9 months to get pregnant again (although i don't plan to hv any more kids so far).
it depends on how your incision is.
my incision was in horizontal curve below the bikini line (most cases are).
for those vertical incisions, it might need to wait longer to have another one.
yeah ... lots of bb girls this year. but i'm not ready to hv another one yet.

my incision was in horizontal too, but my doctor suggested me to have another baby 2 years later, it will be much safer
