If have 20K budget, where & how will you plan to travel during summer holiday?

I plan to travel with my daughter to Australia this summer holiday , but ppl said Australia is in its winter season, not so nice to go during summer.

Then I think of going to Japan, but heard that it is raining season. Not a good time to go as well.

Now I don't know where is the best place to go during summer. Can you pls share with me your ideas?

How old are your daughter?
How long will u want to stay?
What's ur expectation? adventure, leisure, shopping or learning.

sorry for my late reply. My daughter is 6 years old. Maybe plan to travel for a week (max). I don't have any specific requirement. As long as the trip is suitable for kid. (can let kid have fun, safe place to travel etc).

Actually, do you ladies think Japan is not a good place to go during summer? Will it be like raining everyday?

Really thanks for your advice. Then I think I have to give up the idea of going to Australia during summer season.

I haven't think of going to Europe. it sounds like a good idea. Will it be too greedy if go to, like 2 to 3 places in Europe for 1 week. Can you give me more information like which country is more worth to go together with my daughter. I think if taking my daughter to see museum as major part of the trip will be too boring for her. Any other suggestion?
