029892 ：you can book it anytime, normally the waiting time is shorter if you book a private hospital, however, if you are 高齡產婦 or if your weeks 數大，通常public hospital 都會安排你快D
029892 > I don't know coz I am living in Ma On Shan and not sure the situation in Tuen Mun. Generally speaking, I think hospital should be better than 健康院 as they have all the facilities and equipment.

029892 > I think it must depend on different hospital. I heard some bk ladies said some public hospitals would only help them to do ultrasound once during the whole pregnancy period. Sometimes, they even got none (if they think your bb is growing ok). Normally, public hospitals wouldn't spend too much money and resources to do unnecessary ultrasound. They will do twice for us in average, one in 1st consultation in order to calculate our delivery date, 2nd is around 14-16 weeks to do a detail one.
Therefore, you'd better go to private hospital/private doctor to do extra ultrasound and checkup if you find it necessary.
One thing, public hospitals won't prescribe you any supplementary drugs like folic acid, vitamin or calcium, etc..., if you need it, you'd better consult private hos/doc, otherwise, you need to buy it yourself.
