Anyone will choose Baptist Hospital? Did any mami know that good or not. Will I join package or not.......Also I've booked the operation on 18/4. Could anyone can share some tips for me, please?
I have given birth of my baby in Baptist Hospital on 26/3. I had not joined the package and stayed 3 days 2 nights in 8-10 persons room. Finally I paid around $25000 ($10000 Dr's fees + $15000 Hospital fees plus Child Dr's fees). The envioronment is ok but quite crowded. If you can afford more, can choose room for 3 persons but all costs for you and baby will be a little bit higher.
Did you feel very noisy around you? How many China Mainland women stay in yr room?cuz quite worry about it.
Of course, I really want to choose room for 3 persons but my doctor said the total amount will increase 15-20%. I think its very expensive. Now my doctor told me that the budget around $40000 ( by operation), so if choose room for 3 persons means $46000-48000.
So I still consider to choose 3 or big room ah......
And Did you feel the nurse is good and did they encourage hv breast-feeding?
In my first day in hospital, the ward was full and the majoirty were HK women (6:4). Cos the room was all full, it was quite noisy. In the second day afternoon, many women left hospital and the ward was more quiet and crowded again at midnight.
Yes, it you choose 3 persons room, all costs will increase. Not only the ward costs, but also the costs for baby.
The nurse is ok. The hospital encourages breast feeding and some nurses will teach you how to breast feed. Each day, it provides 4 time logs for you to feed the baby.
i don't know whether we can choose 3/f when we check-in. i had join package for standard room $15,580. the room i live is 8 persons.
Fee fore mother is around $34,000 (doctor's fee for $8,000)
Fee for baby is around $2,100
