My case is same as you. My maid also acted as the guarantor for her friend who borrowed money with the same Finance Company. I have received 6 letters from them so far. I have day off yesterday and stayed at home, then I received many phone calls from that finance company. That woman's attitude is very bad and keep calling my home phone number more than 10 times in the afternoon. I told her that I will call the police if she keeps disturbing me. However, she is not scared at all.
I have told my maid to settle the issue with her friend last month or I will fire her. But I don't think she can do anything and I will find another maid to replace her.

……佢一路喊一路話無借錢. 只係幫朋友. 又話唔會還….

當真? 
這有法律責任嗎?
