I've the same situation as u from 20 weeks pregnancy in Canada, and I am on 33 weeks now. 7.2 is not that bad if after meal, I was 10 before I followed the dietitian's meal plan. Right now, the doctor told me I am under a good control.
Remember: 5-10 minutes walk after meal, and no fruit after lunch/supper, wait 2 hrs to enjoy the fruit. It's really work.
