Help! My Bun fell down from the Chair and twist her knee?

My bun fell down from the chair while she tried to clean the window on Monday. I have brought her to see the doctor and she was given one day sick leave. Apart from taking her to see the doctor, what else I should do? Do I need to notify the Labour Department? What is the procedure? Please help. This is my first time to employ a maid and she just came to my home for 2 weeks. I was so unlucky that the insurance does not cover the first 2 weeks medical claims. :(

再睇醫生﹐跌打等等﹐要check清楚保險包唔包跌打

你工人依家行得走得嗎﹖得就繼續做輕便家務﹐總不能一日到黑坐係樹要你照顧埋佢呱﹐仲係有事都要睇醫生﹐睇到OK為止﹐問醫生工人適唔適合工作﹐需唔需要sick leave﹐如醫生都話已經冇問題﹐就叫工人唔好蛇﹐要交足功夫

另外﹐sick leave係要連續4日﹐有醫生證明至可以係有薪既(拎4/5人工)﹐所以你工人拎左一日sick leave﹐你可以執正黎做﹐果日冇薪..........當然你可以同佢講話原本佢唔entitle架﹐不過你好人﹐就出埋果日糧過佢﹐叫佢以後小心d﹐費事整親自己之餘又麻煩到你地﹐仲有d醫藥費冇得claim﹐你地又蝕一筆.....等個工人內疚下﹐以後上心d

I don't know whether your maid's case will be classified as "work injury" or not. If yes, you should notify the Labour Department according to the Employees' Compensation Ordinance. You'd better check it out from the LD.
