Why don't you send this letter to the appropriate government department and ask them this question? We have no protection but have the obligations. We pay $400 a month, but please check if local domestic helper willing to stay late at our home (to match our working hours) to take care of our children. Government never concern about this. I think many mothers in BK understand our tough situation. We employ a foreign domestic helpers and leave our children to a stranger. We get the least benefits from government but in return NO protection for us.
