probably due to different envirnoment, also check is he hungry, sick, hot....
my tip is not to let him cry and calm him down such as talking to him softly, singing to him, giving him favourite toys, for me, I do not suggest giving him pacificer and walking around as he may be even more angry. u may carry him and stand beside the cot and put him down when he stops crying. if he cries, pick him up again and pacify him, put him down again when he settles down.
