You are cordially invited to this unique presentation by
internationally renowned scientist Deborah D.L. Chung who passionately integrates science, music and life to inspire the audience to pursue life with purpose.
Prof Chung will speak and perform from her heart, as rarely done by scientists. The presentation has touched over 10,000 lives internationally. The music will include work by Schubert and by Chung herself.
The following are comments by students that have heard Professor Chung.
“I always considered science to be serious, rational, and noble. Before today, I did not realize that even science could also be passionate, because it is also a belief, and it demands love from you… The seemingly old appearance did not cover her young heart for love in life. It is her love for life that has developed such a great character in her; it is her passion that has made her so charismatic. A young heart made her appear
so beautiful on the stage.”
“She talked about nature, science, music, and life. But what impressed me most was her motto, ‘Your life is a gift from God, and how you spend your life is your gift to God.’ Because of this belief, she particularly
treasures the gift from God and cherishes her life. This has given her a strong sense of mission…. It is also her sense of mission that has made her love music and the piano. I think that this is not just a way to make
science and art develop side by side and to make rationality and intuition balance; it is more about her desire -- a desire to use music to express her love for nature, her love for life, her sense of mission, and her
pursuit of science.”
Everybody is specially made by God with purpose. ;-) Never FROWN, even when U R SAD. 'Cos U never know who is falling In Love with your SMILE. :)
