My baby has the same problem for more than a week now. We took our baby to an eye doctor and was given eye drops. Doctor said it was eye infection and it should clear in 3 days. But the eye drops was no good. Once we stopped giving the eye drops. the eye got worse again. (teary with yellow mucus) I don't want to keep using the eye drops. It cannot be good for the baby. Have you taken your baby to the doctor yet? Any better!!! To be honest, I don't think it's eye infection. I think my baby has blocked eye duct. :-(

I have stopped giving my baby girl the eye drops for 4 days now. Her right eye still has 眼淚 & 綠綠地色嘅分泌物. I don't know what to do? Give her the eye drops again?!
My baby still has 分泌物 in her right eye. I don't give her the eye drops anymore but I do clean her eye more frequently with only baby wet cleaning cotton. Hopefully her eye will get better one day.

The doctor said it was only eye infection. I queried about my baby having blocked eye duct but the doctor said if it was so, my baby would have sticky eye earlier when she was one month old. I haven't taken my baby to the doctor again but I have done some research on the internet and it says that some babies can have sticky eye due to blocked eye duct and the membrane should open up by the age of one year old. I think I'll take my baby to the doctor again only if her eye has gone red.
