my baby is trying to climb out from the playpen.. .what can I do to prevent that?

since the playpen is used for baby sleeping in daytime or when my maid needs to walk away to do other work......

any other replacement which I can fence his activity area??

oh i c..actually we have the TV linked to all those equipment, too ... but regular TV is still a simple click .... I actually was thinking about a TV lock during the day (only DVD playing is permitted).. not sure if there is anything like this? i think it will be needed when baby is growing older and get more interested in regular TV programmes (he is not that interested in regular TV programmes now.. so he won't even look at it)

however, there is problem.. since 99 comes over and she will watch news at our place during lunch (she comes over for lunch now since her first grandchild entered into P1 this school year)................

我個女係 High Chair 或 Booster Chair (櫈仔) 都成功解脫安全帶, 跟住要企起身. 唉, 抱住佢又擰來擰去, 通樹爬, 咩到拿來放入口lam, 放入 bb床又嘈嘈閉, 冇晒辦法.

我係玩具反斗城買, 差不多500元. 因為佢有安全帶扣住,所以唔可以爬出來, 前面有四個制, 按下就有音樂的. 好似係10m+ 去到2yrs old都得, 因為又係幾in one個d, 可以改成單車咁俾bb去公園踏的. 我都唔知小叭現在係幾高幾重, 因為未去打針

. 不過佢都可以自己乜都唔hold住就咁企起身, 但行就唔敢, 就似怕死鬼咁

, 係都要爬, 現在已經爬得超快了. 又成日自己係sofa or床到爬落來, 真係睇小一陣都唔得啊. 其實我一早已經同工人講話睇電視對小朋友唔好, 所以我唔俾小叭睇, 睇都只可以係bb dvd, 所以佢都唔敢開電視.

小叭係06年12月5日出世時重3.23kgs,1個月4.55kgs,2個月6.40kgs,3個月7.72kgs,4個月8.20kgs,5個月8.80kgs, 6個月10.00kgs, 7個月9.55kgs, 8個月10.00kgs, 9個月10.16kgs, 10個月10.45kgs, 11個月10.91kgs
(4個月第一次反身, 5個月坐, 8個半月爬, 9個半月出牙(上面兩只),10個月出牙(上面兩只)12個月7只牙, 11.81 kgs

細叭係09年1月26日出世, 體重6磅半.
4個半月轉身, 5個月識坐, 7個半月出第一只牙(下面)

well... at first, I told her she can watch TV during lunch time (my baby wasn't born at that time)... and eventually, after my baby was born and I installed the webcam, I found out she watched TV even non-lunch time.. but I suspect that she only watch cableTV News channel..and usually less than 30 mins.....

I told her indirectly that if baby is paying too much attention on the TV, she needs to turn it off (so far, through the cam, it seems ok). My husband doesn't like to be too strict on the maid..

really v. smart!

my baby doesn't like the "pushing car". he's pushing chair.. so, walk v. v. slowly. n without holding things, he won't stand.

8:30 - 10 - play with baby or baby sleeps

10 - 1pm - my 99 will comes over and she bath baby at 11am ... 99 will play with baby and she will clean up our room and prepare lunch with my 99's maid.. make bb's congee, prepare food for dinner

1:30 - 7pm - depends la.. if bb awake most of the time.. then she will be in the living room .. play with bb sometimes.. do reading (or watch tv) while bb is playing next to her....

if bb sleeps.. then she probably will finish some unfinish task (like ironing , folding.. or making soup <-- i will change that to Sat from now on).......

hm.. and I think it's time to consider a new timetable for her while baby is developing ...

y, as babies r developing so fast, ve to streamline the maid's work.

starting from mid Oct, husband has asked the maid to cook the congee once every day (i.e. cooking the two meals at one time), and save the second meal in the thermal flask.

u may also consider the following streamlining / rescheduling:
washing clothes- use washing machine instead (but still need to separate adults and baby's clothes)
ironing clothes to be done on wkend only (don't ask her to do that in living rm. the iron may be dangerous to the baby)
ask the maid to wake up earlier and finish all the cleaning works before u go to work
......................
