Tour to Australia (gold coast)

I am planning to visit gold coast in June with my son during his summer holiday. Would it be too cold if we plan for the outdoor activities as it should be the winter time there.

lucas2005, 我本來都有好似貞貞的疑問, A$135同A$70的分別究竟值唔值呢? 但睇完你咁講, 我諗遲d去澳洲都會試吓住Cedar Glen A$135個package, 住得farm stay都係想體驗吓農場生活啫, 至多晌其他方面慳d, 另外, Milford Sound真係好靚喎, 有機會一定要去睇吓.

我在Gold Coast住過兩次farm stay，第一次不懂亨受，腦海中沒有甚麽回憶，但Cedar Glen那一次的節目十分精采。

A$135一個人一晚可能貴一點，但一生人試一次亦無妨，我記得收費是包晚餐(與主人及其他訪客一齊食)、騎馬、farm tour，cow milking、feed animals、4WD到河邊野餐、行山等活動，當時我都覺得肉痛，但是花了幾千元可以換來美好回憶，夫復何求呢？

A$70是不包食用及齋住的，我記得當年一班澳州人(一家人)在農場租了一間屋，自已煮食，是另一類的假期，可能不大適合我們。

農場附近十五分鐘駕車範圍內都無一間商店，無流動電話幅蓋，我估最近的餐廳/take away可能要開半小時車才到，我記得農場面積約有5、6個太古城的面積，一望無際，由農場入口到第一間屋要行五分鐘。

我最亨受在農場的陽台飲English tea、看風景、及聽小鳥唱歌(我放了一些食物引很多小鳥飛過來，晚上到外面看星星。

我十多年前到紐西蘭南北島旅行14天，到達Milford Sound時因為想省回$300船費而沒有坐觀光小輪暢遊Milford Sound的風景，到今天都有點後悔，我今生很可能再沒有機會再到Milford Sound，或者到時心境已不同了(可能要坐在輪椅上)，所以人一世物一世，來到這個世界，要看清楚這個世界的一草一木，才不枉此生，在負擔能力範圍內，花一點錢換來一個美好回憶又何妨呢？

搵次有機會都會考慮去 Cedar Glen 住。你覺得需不需要包食住宿? AUD135 同 AUD70 相差都幾多......以當期的對換兌來計。如果不包食, 農場附近有冇餐廳/take away? 不過我都比較過佢兩個不同價的 package, 活動都不同。 AUD135 嗰個仲有 4 wheel drive, picnic, billy boiling, boomerang throwing etc. 是 self-catered package 冇的。

I enjoy driving in Australia and most of the drivers are very polite. It was very easy to find our way to the farm. However, there was no mobile phone coverage near the farm. I remember we stop over at a shopping mall on the way to Cedar Glen and had a wonderful lunch (British Chicken pies).

The owner of Cedar Glen is very nice too. What a coincident, I met the auntie of my Australian colleague there who worked in the farm (because she recognised my company's T-shirt).

We also met some Gold Coast residents who invited us to her home for an afternoon tea on the day before we left Brisbane (because she left her videocam in the farm). My kids played with her son for two hours at her home. Also, a Dutch student worked in the farm visited us in HK after she completed her 6-months working holiday in Australia.

你講呢兩個farm, 我之前都search過, 我見佢個website只得個好簡單的map, 因為我諗住租車, 會唔會好難揾?

千萬不要帶任何食品入澳州，我上次帶小朋友飲(澳州出產)的保利奶都被海關沒收。

如果妳想帶 baby food, 最好問定澳洲領事館。我記得濕貨係一律唔畀入境, 乾貨ok。

其實去超市買都好方便, 選擇一定唔係少得過香港, ...
