Dear All,
我個小公主病左, 連續肚痾左8日, pat pat都已經紅紅腫腫, 每當換片就喊, 好可憐 :-( , 已經睇左趙永醫生, 但醫生話要痾清, 無藥食, 睇見芊芊噤辛苦我好心痛, 唔知大家有無類似經驗可以分享, 點算....唔知使唔使帶佢去醫院

呀女好翻啦, 唔肚痾啦, 但係就便秘, 真係慘, 痾到出血. 我呀女又係瘦哂, 原本是肥肥白白大碼B, 出世有成9磅幾, 家下變左中碼啦, 佢食人奶, 每日我返工果12個鍾, 佢只係食得果3安!係Total得3安, 好在食到兩餐粥. 我都係諗只要健康就行, 體重無所謂啦!

I am glad to hear that 芊芊 has completely recovered. Don't worry about her weight. Babies can catch up very easily.

, 唔想食粥, 由得佢少食多餐羅. 晉晉食開7.5安到8安奶, 我個陣時剩係俾4安佢, 驚佢嘔, 佢喊餓至又俾4安奶, 慢慢至逐d逐d加番俾佢.
病緊當然唔好出街啦, 佢去街都唔 enjoy啦. 係屋企休息好 d. 自己屋企人都要盡量預防, 如果唔係d 菌會傳來傳去, 好耐至好.
不過知道小公主好番好多都放心好多

做人父母真係唔易架!
我記得我大仔第一次住院, 係佢一歲果陣. 當時, 佢係喊唔到出聲, 然後面色發紫, 全身抽搐, 昏迷不醒, 嚇到我同老公抱住個仔跑落樓下診所, 點知個診所D人唔理, 叫我地自己Call白車. 我老公抱住個仔沖出馬路, 在紅錄燈前上左架的士, 我在後面追著跳上前座, 車上我老公就喊左出來, 好在好在的士司機開得好快, 而我們又離醫院好近, 醫生即刻急救, 我們只能在外面等, 約10分鐘吧, 就聽到呀仔喊. 整個過程其實只有約半個鐘. 係我地兩公婆有生以來最驚既半個鐘.
這件事之後, 我總會想, 小病是福, 沒有生命危險的話, 什麼病都無問題. 我呀仔從小有食物敏感, 原本我是好痛苦的, 總是想怎麼是我呀仔, 但經過那次之後, 我就看得很開了, 敏感只是小事.

Hi Pinkpig2007,

Katrina was hospitalized for 11 days total because of a lymph node infection. We don't know how she contracted it, but the lymph node on her neck was swollen. We tried 2 different oral antibiotics and give her injection everyday (need to go the hospital) but still no improvement. We sent her to the hospital for Intravenous antibiotics that is administered several times a day. As a baby's veins are very thin, it was so difficult to stick the intravenous line inside her. It took several tries and lots of tears (both Katrina's and mine!) before it got in. But after 1 day, it was bent and we had to insert another one. Totally, both her hands and both her feet had an intravenous line attached during her hospital confinement!

At that time, it was such a nightmare for me and my c6. As the lump matured, it increased in size, to the size of a chicken egg! We almost had to do surgery. Fortunately, our pediatrician recommended a good surgeon to us, Dr. Peter Yip. He is a Specialist in Pediatric Surgery. He said we can try to use another method, needle aspiration, to take out the pus inside the lump, but we need to do it several times to ensure all the pus is gone. We finally did this for 3 times, and together with the antibiotics, she finally recovered!

We discovered later, from testing the pus that came out, that the bacteria is ***.

Anyway, I'm so glad that it's over now! I had my support from BK mamies, my family and friends and also, from God. I am a Christian and I felt so helpless so I prayed all the time for Katrina's recovery.

So Pinkpig2007, don't worry, it looks like your B is on her way to recovery. By the way, how is she today?
