Yuji José Mourinho Nakamura Cheating ... Absolutely Cheating.... it's only for 內部同業內購 !!!! I used 4 computers + 2 ipads + 1 mobile with 5 browers opened each.... started since 0750 until now (11:11)....but can never ever get into the 2nd page !!! Bull Shit... the only thing i see is '請稍候' !!!!

Presley Chan This was a HORRIBLE experience! I waited patiently for 2 hours in the waiting room and when I finally got through to buy the fanfares flights, the website crashed during credit card processing. Giving me the following error "A payment transaction is already in progress. Please try again in a few minutes or contact our Global Contact Centres if the confirmation page is not displayed or you do not receive the confirmation email." I attempted to enter my credit card information for over an hour after and never got any further. I tried to call the Global Contact Centres and that was another LONG and UNPROFESSIONAL wait after calling from the US. The Customer Service Representative wouldn't even allow me to talk to their Manager to get an explanation...to say the least this was a very disgusting and unacceptable experience.

Adam Webster Well, all gone now and what a waste of 4 hours of my life! I'm not entirely surprised to have missed out but surely you can't be proud of a system that takes 4 hours to sell just 2014 tickets with plenty of demand! Anyway, I'm sure you now have 2014 very happy customers. Good luck to them and I hope they have a great trip. On the downside, there's probably around 150,000 people swearing never to fly with you again.

Steve Tennant I am with Adam. I accept that with only 2014 tickets spread over several routes and dates, the chances of getting one was very small.
What I am angry about was the system design which just kept you in refresh mode, long after your desired ticket was sold out. Yes 4 hours to sell 2014 tickets is not very impressive at all. Perhaps that's what this was really all about, some kind of stress test of the system?
This has certainly damaged CX's reputation globally and upset a lot of valued(?) customers.

Tai Mun Chan Found post at other forum mentioned that they can simply copied the link and that modify their waiting number. So their group of people bought several hundred tickets already. if thats true, whats the point for us to wait 4 hours online. please fix itvifvthere is such a loophole in the system.

Tai Mun Chan biggest joke ever, the system allow me to queue for my booking of Nagoya at 7:56am, system shown there were 130000 already waiting to proceed. I kept waiting until approx. 11:10am and received [fully booked] reply from the system. I dont mind to wait and try my luck. However, this arrangement seems strange and unfair. Sound like something tricky is ...........

Ronny C Hui And don't fool us with the so called tolerance in reselling activities. The agents can earn clicks and follows by posting the shortcut which could be more profitable than resell.

Ronny C Hui I have a bad feeling that we are actually one of the 150000 people in Cathay Pacific PR event voluntarily while the tickets are instead targeting those people with shortcut method. I further question if the shortcut is formally leaking out from Cathay Pacific to its business partners in return of advertisement or benefits

Ronny C Hui The key is that the public is asked to use the queuing system to access the booking system while a small group of people can bypass it and book tickets directly. If Cathay Pacific aims to encourage such tricks, sorry you destroy your trust from public.

Denis Giglioli I understand not everyone will or could have a promotional seat but trying to book flight since 8h30 and it has been impossible to get any destination. Suddenly everything appears sold out. Judging by the amount of comments of HK based clients I was not the only one to get a terrible user experience of a really not "fan" fares. On top, tickets were available for resell in high number in multiple Chinese forum as early as 8h45? Really not impress by the "best" airline 2014 and definitively not making a positive impression on customers relationship.

Denis Giglioli The fact servers were open before 8 and you let resellers to publicly advertise reselling your promotional tickets (somehow they managed to access them...) tell a lot about what the company moral and way of conduct. Not sure which "flyers" will enjoy it Roni. At least not regular customer who tried to play fairly your promotion game.

Brandon Ma Dear sir. I have just waited 2.5 hours for a selected trip to tell me it was sold out. Either you are giving way too much time for people to close a transaction or you don't have enough bandwidth and need to upgrade your server capacity to handle this. Next time have more consideration for people that have to work which is pretty much all of Hong Kong? Maybe start these promotions at night? Another suggestion is have a queue number and number of remaining seats so that it doesn't seem black box? 5 star for concept. 1 star for execution.
