Not a must, coz i have just fired my maid on 31st Jan, she has worked for 5 days as well, we have paid her 1 month, coz we didnt know and being persuade by the agency. However, i have check with friends and Labor Department after that, it's not a must to pay her 1 month, depends on the situation, so you better call the labor dept. to double check first.
