for most appendicitis, we can check whether there is any positive sign for coughing test, rovsing test, psoas test and obturator test.
RLQ pain when be elicited when the patient cough, pressure applied on the left abdominal wall, when internal rotating, hyperflexed or hypextend the hip
actually the tenderness can occur in umbilicus and right lower quadrant.
because appendix is an internal organ, for most of the visceral pain, the pain is always poorly located.
it usually starts with periumbilical paib, then occur in the right maburney\'s point and if peritonitis occur, pain can be elicit when you press the left side of the abdominal.
Thing to note that localised pain to right maburny point is usu in later stage
