there are many ways said to be working well on killing head lice. most commonly used effective way seems to be alcohol. the lotion I bought from Mannings is actually a mix of tea tree and olive oil only, so it\'s natural thing. I found that other things that may work are in fact stuffs that are oily enough , eg mayonnaise, olive oil, etc. to suffocate the lice. but they are not toxic to kill lice. the Chinese medicine that I mentioned is used to kill lice, and it\'s mild that it doesn\'t harm human. I made solution using it, the smell isn\'t bad, but it is itchy on skin, so I think that\'s how it can kill lice.

My daughter got headlines end of last year.
I bought the meds to wash on her hair, it only could help to kill the adults not the eggs, and the meds is poison, So i searched online and see what some parents did.
I tried Olive Oil, use it on dry hair, use 保鮮紙包頭再用shower cap, stay overnight ( or more than 4 hrs), the oil can kill all the eggs, at the next morning, use the metal comb to comb her hair clearly( u can watch at youtube.com), I only used once on her hair, it really worked, no more lices we saw.
After that, I searched a shampoo to prevent, ( the shampoo is from USA), but my friends told me that you can add some rosemary and tea tree 香薰油 into the shampoo u are using, which also works.
And i throw all jackets with fur hood, the lices can climb one jacket to another jacket if the jacket has fur.
Hot water to wash all her bed stuffs and also use high temp to dry.
