my 1.5 yr old baby boy is on toilet training now. He always pee out of toilet because the opening of his penis is open to right. So whenever he weewee, the urine will go to the right hand side.

Is it a problem? Should I take him to see a doctor? Is there any mom having experience about that? Many thanks for your reply!

Hi Ennael,

Thanks for your caring. I took my boy to see a family doctor. He said it might be penis foreskin's problem. Baby might be need circumcise when he is older. The doctor just asked me to monitor and didn't tell me when is the time to do the circumcise/surgery.

I am not so worried after this visit. But frankly, I am not fully assured by his comment. I think only specialist, like Paediatric Urologist can tell exactly what really happened the penis. Anyway, baby has an appointment at 健康院 next week for regular check-up. I am going to raise the question to nurse again. See if they can refer baby to a specialist in public hospital or not. Wish me luck.

because my son was born in UCH so they will follow my case lor....i find UCH is very good and professional nor...my son had hernia and had surgery on 1/4

if u don't mind do it in public hosptial u better bring him to 健康院 first then they will transfer u to public hosptial

其實最好係呢個時候(around 1 yr old)做ga

i don't know how long the surgery take but u and your child (UCH can allow one parent stay with the child lor) need to stay at the hospital for 7-10 days lor because is 矯形．．．

i never think of go to private hosptial because i find UCH is good...and it would expensive too lor...

I have to admit I didn't realize it is a problem when I first find baby weewee to the right hand side months ago. Anyway, I will bring him to see a doctor ASAP.

About the surgery, May I know how long the surgery is going to take? 1 hour or 2? Which hospital did your baby take this surgery? Public or private? Is it long queue in public hospital? Sorry about so much questions, and so mix-up. I am bit worried. I will be so sorry if I miss the best chance to cure my baby.
