sorry for my late reply, when you feel the pain for several time, you can feel the interval, so better have your watch with you... then you can count when the next pain is coming and you can take the medicine first by your nose/mouth? I can't remember that.... after you take the medicine, it will be effective after a few seconds.... if it is effective just when the contaction comes, then there is no pain at all but....
