My maid is quite good for taking care of my son. However, may be she knew that she is good, she asked for go back Philippines after 1 year service.

Do you think I should comply with this "extra" request?

我Agent係咁講，佢話新法制續約後滿約一年要離境，去澳門、深圳都得at least 3hrs。不過去深圳就煩D要apply 大陸入境visa。

What do you mean by "should depart after 1 year? Do you mean that if I terminate the contract now, she need to depart next Aug?

我就因為費事煩，所以唔搞咁多嘢啦！

不過我真係不滿政府囉，點解要咁分？我同事話因為政府唔想將已收的levy(即一次過俾那些)退返，所以諗左條咁嘅橋！

你計落都無著數啦,真係為左對抗政府就寧願要少d錢??? 我而家一心等睇1月大部分僱主會點做,再唔係既,咪當"草"住兩年錢囉,兩年後先law返~~~

Yesterday 我個agent都問我攪唔攪终止合同, 佢話個工人而家no need 離境, 但一年後就要, 但去澳門就得(只要離開3hrs就OK)。條數甘計:

1) 仲有3期錢要俾政府 $7200
2) Agent 收我$1480( included所有文件所費), 佢地 ...

　　如果而家同工人終止合約，之前交左既僱傭稅唔係就無得退番咩？點解你個agent會叫你同個工人終止合約既？我七月頭交左$2400，賓賓7月尾先到

其實我諗住睇下一月時d僱主會唔會罷交僱傭稅先再作打算呀～～不過我諗我唔會貿貿然同工人終止合約架喇，因為計落無著數呀！

Me too. After compared the total cost saving by this termination, it's not really significant. Thus, I will not proceed la.

我個工人今年4月尾先請，如果宜家terminate又再請返，有排搞！

而且我真係需要個工人在我父母家幫手，唔可以無人。

所以雖然係咁唔公平，但我都唔會terminate個工人再請過。

我聽我d firend 講, in worst case, 佢真大左肚返黎, 其實, 個agent都可以幫倒你. 唔通佢真係想以後唔黎hk 做野咩.

或者, 你同agent 傾下, 睇下佢地有乜suggestion? 如果你o係驚佢返左去, 會大左肚返黎.

我都覺得如果你唔比佢返去, 佢又冇心機做野, 又唔開心. 咁好似唔係幾好lor.

Wow! What a bad experience! As there's still some more months to go. Will wait and see!

Freesia Cat, I have already told her that March is busy month for me and I need to check whether I can apply annual leave. If not, may be she cannot go back.

My previous maid... after working for me for a few months, she begged me to let her go back to Philipine for Christmas cos' she miss her kids and wants to see them so badly. Me... being a new mother at that time, understand how it feels being seperated from your own kids, so I was too generous and let her back... and when time was up, she called and said she wants to stay for another week... I said she couldn't, she said she must be there for another week otherwise there would be big problem between her and her husband... there was nothing I could do, so I waited for another week... and then she said she can't come back anymore... and then she didn't even answer my call anymore... after that... I swear to myself, I can't treat them too nice... cos' they won't do the same thing to you!!!

um... it's really difficuit but if I were you I won't let her back. Some maids even don't come back after going back to Philippine. Has you talked to your agent? What did they say? May be you can ask your agent to talk to your maid...

其實我覺得你可以好聲好氣咁問佢想exactly幾時放，等你考慮下先，而且要睇下有無人可以代你照顧BB(但要面有難色咁)...... 不過當然最後係話搞唔掂，真係sorry放唔到佢...... 我諗你如果好聲好氣，早d俾佢知你真係考慮過但唔ok，佢都唔會嬲嘅！

For me, I will not let her going back. I have a good agent who always teach me how to handle the maid. She requested me to bring my maid to her office before go back to Philippines after 2 years service. I think she want to warn her something not to do. There may have something happened you cannot expect.
You can tell your maid that you can't find other people to take care your son.
