Haha, my mum, my aunt and also my ex-colleague said they want to be Pue Yuet too! Last year full-time Pue Yuet was only 16k-20k (my brother hired one), but this year they are asking for astronomical figure, which doesn't make sense.

I think even 11k for a part-time Pue Yuet is very expensive as they only need to work 6-8 hours. Their salary is even higher than most fresh U grad, whereas they may not even have F.3 standard. Hehe, maybe we can think abt opening a Pue Yuet agency firm and earn commission....as the cost of opening such a firm is quite low. I believe my agent charges 6k out of the 22k, as I paid 6k to the agent and agent asked me to give the rest to the Pue Yuet.

Suddenly have a thought of opening a bun bun maid's agent + Pue Yuet firm tim, haha

My maid claimed that she knows how to take care of BB, but I should assume she doesn't. In the 1st mth, I am sure I don't have much energy to take care of BB. Maid has to do housework, the Pue Yuet is to 24 hrs monitor and take care of BB.

I am really scared of holding a new born baby, afraid of slipping her on the floor as she's tiny. Babies are very fragile, which needs 24 hours monitoring by a more knowledgable babysitter (i.e. Pue Yuet).

though i have not seen the bed, Art Deco has good reputation and design should be good. just enjoy using it! bed is a durable item, anyway.

i also recommend you to buy readily made "keung cho" to save all the trouble. the ingredient of "keung cho" is not cheap. unless you want those ginger skin to make water for bathing, otherwise, buying readily made "leung cho" is wise. but you need to book in advance.

don't think too much la, esp. you have decided to use this pui yuet. just enjoy the maternity leave. our mood easily fluctuate after delivery. let others handle the pui yuet stuff. otherwise, you will feel very upset when you need to face the pui yuet for long hours every day.

wah... Your BB bed is very expensive but considering that it is composed of BB bed, maid bed, cabinets and can let BB sleep till 10 yrs old, I think it's okay!

For my BB, I think I will use a basket given by a friend tentatively as we'll be moving very soon. After that, perhaps I will get BB a nice bed?

My Pue Yuet is 22k full time (24x6 days). But won't expect she will work for 24 hours because she needs to sleep. I am very sure my Pue Yuet is very lazy, here are the examples:
- she said she will ask my maid to prepare all the food (e.g. cutting, chopping, seasoning), she said she is only in charge of cooking (only cook the food for me to 'bo sun', but not cook dinner etc).

-I asked her to boil 'geung cho' for me, she asked for 1 full days' salary and boil at my home (i.e. $850 daily salary). She asked me to have my maid to buy all the food (ginger and 'cho'), plus peel all the ginger.

If that's the case, I can have my maid to boil lah! Why ask her ah. So now I've decided to buy the 'geung cho' in Pat Chun loo, save my time, money and energy.

My Pue Yuet is so 'dai siu lai'!
