Hi, I will travel with my 8 months old son in Nov. What kind of strollers I can take with me because I am scare he will be too heavy for me to hold him at that time. I am thinking to buy combi or chicco, which model I can bring while waiting on board?

I will travel at the end of Oct to taiwan first and then to HK.

Last time when I traveled with my husband & daughter (7 months), I tried to watch a movie, attempted to do so for 3 times, but by the time for landing, still couldn't finish it .So 13hrs flight does pass very quickly, dun worry.

Aki,
every time, I bought seat for Amanda as I don't want to take the risk if the flight became full.
as when Amanda was 6 months old, she was 21 lbs, I didn't dare to take the risk for 17 hours flight from NYC to HK.

I do use the Graco double stroller which is really easy to take care of 2 kids.
Amanda is borderline of ADHD.. haha.. and she will be very behave in the stroller.. I can go out with both of my kids by myself with my stroller. 1 person can operate it very well. remember to bring a baby carrier if you have a younger one under 2, that will be easy when you get in and out of the flight. I love the basket of the Graco.. full of room for you to put all the stuff.

Last time when I travelled with my big daughter ( 5months old), I used my light Britax stroller. This time, I am going to travel with my 2 girls (2yrs & 6mths) on my own. I think I will bring the Graco double stroller. When it fold up, it's the same size as the Graco single stroller. I hope thay will let me use the double.

for me, I went back to HK with Amanda by my own and another 2 times with my husband.
while Amanda was 7 months old, I used my Travel system. Check in at the gate. They will give you a ticket for the stroller and I used my infant carseat inflight, Cathay is better with that.
When Amanda was 13 months, we used Combi, which you can fold up and have a shoulder strap. also check in at the gate before you get into the aircraft. very convenience and that time we took our convertible carseat with us, Amanda go out with her convertible carseat in hk.

I think any size of stoller will be ok, coz u'll need to check in the stoller before u enter the plane at the gate. They'll give u back as soon as u get off the door of the plane.
